Today I wanted to perform an exercise that I haven’t done in a long time and this is, battling ropes. Battling ropes are a tough exercise but it is a great workout.
Battling ropes are very good for building shoulder strength, core strength, and strength within your defensive stance.
Here is a list of the exercises I did:
1. Double slams: small, medium, and high slams
2. Alternate slams: small, medium, and high slams
3. Side to side
4. Make circles with the rope: both directions
Below you can view a short video I filmed to demonstrate for you on how to battle the ropes. This will allow you could get a visual of what the different rope exercises are.
I challenge you to give battling ropes a try. These ropes give you such a great workout!
